Green Ribbon House
A playful reinterpretation of the archetypal house form, animated through layered geometry and living materiality.

The living façade contributes to biodiversity while enhancing the streetscape, incorporating integrated bird habitats and seasonal planting. The result is a dynamic interplay between built form and landscape, where architecture and ecology are intrinsically linked.
The concept subverts the familiar pitched-roof house by introducing subtractive and additive forms, resulting in a distinctive and characterful composition.
Located in Crofton Park, this new four-bedroom home is defined by a base form clad in recycled clay tiles, punctured with openings and extended apertures. In front of this, a curved living wall acts as a ribbon-like screen, softening the underlying geometry and introducing texture, colour and ecological value.
